We are currently working on a project where a room containing non-EX equipment is installed in hazardous zone 2. This room is protected (made safe) by a pressurization system, type Pc according to IEC-60079-13. In order to mark the notation Pc and reference to IEC on the room, would it require a 3rd party approval or can NOV self-declare this by making a declaration of conformity?
Det er kun ATEX utstyrsdirektivet som tillater at man kan godkjenne Sone 2 utstyr (Kategori 3) uten 3dje part, ikke IECEx systemet eller NORSOK.
Equipment to be installed in zone 2 can be verified by the manufacurer.
The decleration of conformity is the responsibility of the manyfacturer, and can be isued by NOV.
